News Classification Specialist:
You are on the pulse with who and what is making the news and what is inspiring the markets to move. You are a highly motivated team player who looks to collaborate in order to drive results and innovation. Are you passionate about news, technology and analysis? Do you want to work on the next evolution of news auto-classification and seek to revolutionize the way it is done? Cheetah Content Indexing we work on the classification of the world's most comprehensive news with the aim of expanding Cheetah's brand as the leader in the news market.
What can you expect from this opportunity?
You'll develop product knowledge, learn about our clients and their needs and build relationships throughout the company. As your experience grows, you will be expected to leverage your knowledge of local markets and have greater influence on deciding what classification rules we need to kick off or review. You will be also expected to work closely with the Engineering group on initiatives that improve our News product or our internal processes. The position offers opportunities to learn new technologies and work closely with Product Strategy and Engineering teams.
We'll trust you to:
Perform research to identify news topics which are relevant to American region and modify the news classification rules accordingly.
Collaborate with other business functions such as Sales and Engineering.
You'll need to have:
A Bachelor degree in Linguistics, Business or Finance or equivalent major.
Strong English language capability, able to pay close attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
