Who are we?
VIP Research & Management is a regulated investment advisory company based in South Korea, with total assets under management of USD 1.6 billion. Our history roots back to 2003 when Peter Kim and JC Choi co-founded the company to pursue value investing, at the time a rare investment strategy in Korea. Our AUM is comprised of funds from high net worth individuals, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. Since 2015, we have been actively expanding coverage to the Greater China region, with staff present in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

Internship – Investment Associate:
We look for candidates striving to become value investors in the Greater China region. Your job is to identify the best investment opportunities available in the public equity market. To do so, you are expected to conduct in-depth company & industry research, quantitative screening, management meetings, and other peripheral work supporting senior managers. Your insights will help us make long-term investments.
From experience, we learned that this job requires a multi-year endeavor. It requires passion and perseverance from both you and us. We promise to do our best to support you throughout the internship. The internship would take place in Shenzhen, with rotational opportunities in Seoul and Hong Kong. This opportunity is open for both undergraduates and graduates. We welcome candidates of all nationalities.

General Requirements:
- Strong passion for value investing
- Knowledge in equity investing and financial statement analysis
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Minimum 10 weeks of time devotion without interruption from your academic and personal schedule

Remuneration:
- Monthly compensation and housing subsidy
